The iconic Pena Palace, located in Sintra, Portugal, is a vibrant and eclectic 19th-century Romanticist castle that stands atop a hill overlooking the town. Known for its striking and colorful architecture, the palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.

Commissioned by King Ferdinand II, the Pena Palace was constructed on the ruins of an old monastery and incorporates a mix of architectural styles, including Moorish, Gothic, and Manueline influences. Its vividly painted facades feature a kaleidoscope of colors, making it a visually stunning and iconic landmark.

The palace is surrounded by lush gardens and a vast park, the Parque da Pena, which adds to its picturesque setting.
