Cancellation Policy – Wonder Van
At Wonder Van, we understand that unexpected situations can arise and plans may change. Our goal is to provide the best experience for our customers while maintaining the quality of our services and the feasibility of our operations. Therefore, we apply the following cancellation policy:
1. Cancellations by the Client
- More than 30 days before the service date:
✅ Full refund of the amount paid OR full credit for use on another Wonder Van service. - Between 15 and 30 days before the service date:
✅ 50% refund of the amount paid OR full credit for a new date (subject to availability). - Less than 15 days before the service date:
✅ No refund will be issued, but a credit of 50% of the amount paid may be granted for future use. - No-show (failure to appear on the service date):
✅ No refund or credit will be issued. - Withdrawal during the service:
✅ No refund or credit will be issued. - Reservations made through external platforms (OTAs) are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective platform and must be handled directly with them.
2. Reservation Changes
- Changes to the number of participants can be made up to 30 days before the service date, subject to availability and price adjustments.
- If the change results in a reduction in the number of participants, the per-person rate will follow the terms of the cancellation policy, and administrative fees or a minimum fixed service charge may apply to cover operational costs.
- Changes to the service date can be made up to 30 days before the scheduled date, subject to availability.
3. Cancellations by Wonder Van
Wonder Van may cancel a service due to external factors such as:
- Extreme weather conditions that make the experience unsafe.
- Unforeseen operational or logistical issues.
- Force majeure events (e.g., pandemic, government restrictions).
In such cases, the client may choose from the following options:
✅ Full refund of the amount paid.
✅ Full credit for a new date.
✅ Exchange for another equivalent service, subject to availability.
If the service has already started and needs to be interrupted, a partial refund may be granted based on the unused portion of the service.
4. Special Conditions for Groups and Private Events
- Deposit to confirm the reservation:

- For large groups (over 10 participants), a 30% to 50% deposit of the total amount may be required at the time of booking.
- Final payment:

- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the service date.
5. Cancellation Request Process
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to welcome@wondervan.pt, including the reservation number.
- Refunds will be processed within 5 business days and will be issued using the original payment method.
⚠️ Important: Access Conditions in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park
Please note that, due to the protected nature of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, temporary access restrictions to certain roads and monuments may occur. These limitations are imposed by local authorities in cases of fire risk, flooding, or other adverse conditions, and are completely beyond Wonder Van’s control.
If such situations arise, our commitment remains: we will always find the best alternatives to ensure your experience is smooth and enjoyable. Our local expertise and flexibility allow us to adjust the route and itinerary, providing equally amazing options so you can make the most of your day!
