SINTRA COAST JEEP ADVENTURE

Join us and explore the unknown areas of Sintra on this one-of-a-kind experience, full of beautiful landscapes and adventures!

We will start at 10 am at our store in the street below Sintra Train Station, where you will meet, in addition to our incredible guide (and your Portuguese local friend for the day), our unique 4×4 UMM Jeep , 100% Portuguese, who will be your best companions on this unforgettable experience!

Rural Area – Colares

Our adventure begins through the countryside following the centenary tram line, inside Sintra’s rural area towards Colares. You will have the opportunity to see the simplicity of our typical villages, and as proof of this, we will show you the oldest Wine Cellar* in the country, where you can get to know a little of Portugal’s winemaking traditions, which remain intact, from the ancient times to the present day and where you can optionally carry out a Wine Tasting. (not available on sundays)

From the wine cellar, we head to the coast to one of our favourite beaches, considered the “Santorini of Portugal”, – a small village found between the ocean and the cliffs – a heavenly location with a natural pool and stunning views !!

We continue on the coast line towards the most famous beaches in the area, and as we are getting there ahead of the crowds, we are lucky enough to enjoy the vast ocean avoiding instead the vast “ocean of people”.

To get “refuelled” we make a stop for lunch at a 100% local restaurant * where you will delight our typical dishes and good regional wine, in a picturesque village on the top of the mountain,

*We normally add this stop, at a local restaurant (definitely not available on travel guides), in a cozy picturesque village on the top of the mountain, with very economic& super tasty Portuguese menus BUT all group members must agree, If not there are obviously alternatives so everyone is happy!

Through paths and trails, on top of the cliffs, we continue of adventure taking you to our secret location, that can only be reached with the help of a 4×4 jeep so off-grid that even most of the locals are unaware of. Try not to lose your breath as this magnificent setting shows you breath-taking landscapes, that we are sure you will never forget!

Can we challenge you for some “off the beaten tracks”? Hold on tight, because we will cross the mountain on “Adventure” mode… Let’s “raise some dust” on our way to Sintra Center getting to our last visit of the day : the most iconic palace, with the best postcard like views of our country: Pena Palace!

We finish this unforgettable day at Sintra’s Historical Centre, where we have a small surprise waiting for you!
